Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This site is operated by A2BE Inc. ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your personal information, and everything beyond your email address is optional and consent-gated.
What we collect
- Email address (required) — to deliver the waitlist confirmation and our email briefings. We use double opt-in: you are not subscribed until you confirm from your inbox.
- Optional details — age range, ZIP code, self-reported Norwood stage, and current product use. These are collected only if you choose to provide them and check the research consent box. They are used solely in anonymous, aggregate form to understand our audience and shape what we build.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for security and operations, retained briefly.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.
- We do not infer or assign health diagnoses. Optional self-reported information is treated as sensitive and handled under the consent you give, and no other.
Consumer health data
Some optional fields (such as Norwood stage and product use) may be considered "consumer health data" under laws like the Washington My Health My Data Act. We collect such data only with your explicit consent, use it only for the purposes stated at collection, do not sell it, and will delete it on request. Where geofencing restrictions apply to health data, we do not engage in geofencing at all.
Your rights
Depending on your state (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and the Washington My Health My Data Act), you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- Correct or delete your personal information;
- Withdraw consent at any time;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any right, email privacy@strandstandard.com from the address you signed up with, or use the unsubscribe and preference links in any email we send. We respond within the timeframe your state's law requires (typically 45 days or less).
Retention
We keep waitlist data until you unsubscribe or request deletion, after which it is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Unconfirmed signups (no double opt-in) are purged automatically.
Processors
We use Amazon Web Services (hosting, database, and email delivery) as our infrastructure provider. Data is stored in the United States.
Children
This site is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes in any material way, we will note it here and, for significant changes affecting data we already hold, notify you by email before the change takes effect.
